WELCOME TO
THE ISLIP PTA COUNCIL
OF ISLIP HAMLET, NEW YORK
The PTA Council is the coordinating body for the Islip District Public Schools Parent Teacher Associations. Our members are the Council Officers, PTA Presidents, Council Delegates and Committee Chairpersons from each school. We also encourage the participation of our school principals, the Superintendent of Schools, Board of Education Trustees and Presidents of other child centered organizations in Islip Hamlet.
The Council meets on a regular basis to act as a forum at which concerned and involved parents, administrators and staff can exchange ideas and information with one another. We discuss and act on district-wide issues facing our children and help affect positive change in our schools and our community at large.
