May was a whirlwind of activity with our annual BOGO Book Fair run by Diana Campisi and Jo Ann Phillips. Children bought their favorite books and got to take some home for free! The Mother’s/Father’s Day Boutique run by Ann Marie Gordon was a hit with the children, who bought gifts for that special someone during their lunch period. And finally, the Staff Appreciation Luncheon run by Denise Colotti was a great success, the teachers and staff enjoyed a great spread put on by PTA parents and very generous donations from local businesses.
The PTA held it’s elections for the 09-10 IMS Executive Board. I am happy to congratulate the following people on their new elected positions:

It’s hard to believe that the school year is over already! I would like to take this opportunity to thank my PTA Board for all their hard work over the past two years. We have worked exceptionally well together and it was great to part of the team. To all the parents who have volunteered their time to help out with all of our activities. Your help was appreciated more that I can say. To the staff at the Middle School, it has been a great experience getting to know you and work together these past years. You have always helped when needed, be it with announcements, keys or just a smile! I will certainly miss seeing you (practically) every day! To Dr. Martin and Mr. Walerstein thank you for all of your support of the PTA, you helped make the bridge between the PTA and the school that much stronger.
It has been my pleasure being part of the Middle School family. Although at times PTA is hard work, you have helped make it all worthwhile. I wish everyone at the Middle School continued success, until we meet again! Have a happy & safe summer!
